Glass Manifestations

Glass manifestations (printing on glass) may be desired but is often necessary – it is a health and safety requirement to apply manifestations where you have full height glass in windows, doors or building partitions. This is to mark that the glass is there and to prevent injuries from people walking into the glass.

There are requirements over what manifestations are needed and we always make sure we adhere to these – you may recognise the most common form of these as a series of dots. As long as you meet these requirements then you are doing what is necessary, but you may wish to consider making manifestations more of a design feature. Instead of simply placing markings at strategic points on glazing in particular contrast, you could decide to include additional patterns, shapes, wording or logos. This gives you an opportunity to be more creative or to enhance your branding.
