Many people are unaware of what Dibond is, although it is more than likely that they would recognise it if was pointed out given how often it is used in a variety of environments. Dibond signs (also known as Alupanel, Dillite, Dibond Digital and Raybond), are an aluminium composite and are frequently used for signs that will be in position for a long period of time.

How do we print on Dibond?

We do a high definition digital print on a 3mm thick Dibond sheet, which is then laminated. The result is a sign that is still beautifully bright but very durable. It is also very rigid and sturdy, but at the same time lightweight. Furthermore, they can be framed using the Panatrim framing system, giving a classic finish to them.

What are the benefits of Dibond?

As this type of signage is aluminium, it is incredibly long-lasting, temperature-stable and won’t rust or warp, meaning it is perfect to use in external locations. The way it is printed means it is very flat, resistant to scratches and has a smooth surface, ensuring a high quality and finish for your business.

What is Dibond signage useful for?

Dibond signs can be fixed in place through a number of means, such as drilling, riveting or nailing them to walls or posts. It can also be printed on both sides. All of these features mean they are often used for shop fascia signs, wall signs and also information and directional signage such as for exhibitions and events.
